Optimal Solutions Acquires SAP Application Management & Support Contract for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from BearingPoint

 

IRVING, TX. - October 8, 2009 – Optimal Solutions Integration, Inc., today announced it has acquired from BearingPoint, Inc., the consulting firm’s current contract with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to provide application management services (AMS) for the Port Authority’s installed SAP® systems.

 

Under the terms of the contract, Optimal will perform ongoing maintenance across the Port Authority’s installed SAP Business Suite applications, which include SAP Financials, SAP Procurement, SAP Logistics and SAP Real Estate Management, among others. As part of the acquisition, Optimal hired BearingPoint’s team of SAP consultants currently performing SAP AMS services for the Port Authority.
