Optimal Ranked Third on Washington Technology’s Fast 50

Irving, TX, September 26, 2005 -Optimal Solutions Integration, Inc, a leading enterprise technology consulting firm, has been ranked the third fastest-growing small business in the government IT arena by Washington Technology, the leading national newspaper for government IT systems integrators and resellers. Rankings are based on percentage growth of government revenue over a period of five years from 2000 – 2004.

Optimal’s work in the government sector includes engagements with NASA, the Department of Defense, the District of Columbia, the state of Washington and the U.S. Mint, among other government and public sector enterprises.

“Our work over the past five years on some of the largest government IT initiatives clearly demonstrates Optimal’s ability to master complexity, mitigate risk and deliver maximum value from costly technology investments,” said Gurvendra Suri, Optimal’s CEO. “We are proud of our high ranking on Washington Technology’s Fast 50, and we look forward to continued success in the government sector.”

Sam Sliman, executive vice president for Optimal Solutions Integration, credits a proven ability to work in a multi-vendor environment for Optimal’s strong growth in the government arena. He said, “Typically, government projects are very large, dwarfing anything in the commercial sector. Because of the size of these engagements, there are usually numerous vendors involved. Optimal’s expertise in specialized areas such as global business process design and large-scale systems integration, coupled with our flexibility and willingness to share risk, positions us well to work successfully in teaming environments.”

To qualify for Washington Technology’s Fast 50, technology companies must have minimum government revenue  prime and subcontracting revenue from federal, state and local contracts  of $100,000 in the first year. Applicants must be located or have government sales offices in the greater D.C. area, and must meet the government criteria for small business or be a member of the 8(a) program.
