Analytics for SMEs Key to SAP’s 1B Users Goal

SAP has not backed off on its stated goal of reaching 1 billion users by 2014. Tuesday's announcement of its latest releases of its BI solutions for SMEs - Crystal Server 2011 (formerly Crystal Reports Server) and BusinessObjects Edge Business Intelligence 4.0 - makes it crystal clear that extending cutting-edge BI and analytics to SMEs is a key component of the company's strategy for hitting the one-billion-user target. Slated for general availability in early July, both solutions are part of SAP's largest BI solutions upgrade in three years and include a wealth of new features sure to drive rapid adoption.
